Bride Blogger

The groom and groomsmen attire: Since most of my wedding planning thus far has been untraditional I knew I didn't want to do the typical tux for the boys. So, I began a hunt for the perfect suit. We ended up finding these great suits on jcrew.com. The groom will be the only one in the full suit and the groomsmen will just be sporting the pants and vest to keep it casual. Check it out!

Now that I have my dress and the boys have their suits I think I'm going to take a break from wedding plans over the holidays! Best of luck with your plans and Merry Christmas!

Favor Display Ideas

>> Thursday, December 10, 2009

Here are some great, creative ideas for displaying your favors, taken from Martha Stewart Weddings:

Pin treat-filled cellophane bags (custom-made with your initials and wedding date) to a linen-covered cork board.

Candies shaped like rocks and placed in a small pail would be perfect for an outdoor wedding. Just make sure you put up a banner or sign to let your guests know the rocks are edible!

Combine favors and place cards in one for convenience and creativity.

Fill cones (outfitted with your initials) with candies or mints and place them in trays.

Decorate jars of honey with pretty personalized labels and fabric that matches the design theme of your wedding. Wrap with twine to secure the fabric.
